She said, stop praying for me, Mother
I never prayed enough
to stop her
I have stopped praying now
Death whispers her name.
Time has slowed
Silence has replaced
The susurrous swirl
Of conversation
I whisper her name

I don’t think there is anything I can say to take away your pain. I just want you to know that you are not alone and that it will get easier with time. Try to take it a day at a time. Even a moment at a time. Make sure to take care of yourself and get some rest ❤️

Rest is something I am getting. I have not slept well in over 2 years, as her illness started to become more apparent. I just can’t get past the feeling of her pain and distress the last few hours of her life. She was a funny, gifted, tortured soul. I do pray for time to heal.

I wish you well and will keep you in my prayers. Keep writing and processing your pain. I would also recommend perhpas speaking to a grief counselor in your area. Some one that can help you process your emotions.

Dr. Perry I appreciate your prayers. I believe in them. I am a lucky person. I have tons of support. Too much actually. We are wading through the condolences. I just am at a loss at how fragile life is when dealing with mental health. I will be spending time with a counsel or . Right now I am blessed with your blog. Thank you.

I am happy to hear you have plenty of support and are not going through this alone. Life is indeed so fragile especially when one is dealing with mental health issues. Have a peaceful night and I will say a special prayer for you and your daughter. Good night✨
